    Original Duckhead was founded in 2012 by Morgan Cros in a desire to connect the joyful manifestations of nature with style and sustainability.

    Morgan, originally from Paris, settled in London and couldn't help but notice how much it rains in the UK. She realized how getting outside and staying connected to nature is vital to our health in an increasingly digital world. Even in the rain!

    The main mission was to disrupt the throwaway culture in the umbrella industry. Did you know that more than 1 billion umbrellas are thrown away every year? Most of these umbrellas are not recycled or even recyclable.

    ODH implements innovative design technology, saving millions of consumer plastic waste from landfills and oceans. To date, it has recycled more than 3 million consumer plastic bottles and its mission is to recycle more than 10 million plastic bottles by 2030.

    The women-owned and operated brand wants to promote mindful consumerism, promote sustainable values and change an industry that needs a shake-up.
